Tufts University was one of the major college campuses to be at the fore front of the COVID-19 pandemic. They assembled trailer-like structures to house students affected with the COVID-19 virus. These are the school’s modular units—known as “the Mods”—and they offer temporary housing for people who may need to isolate or quarantine, because of the pandemic.

NSMC was responsible for the Plumbing & Gas scope of work, including:

• Sanitary Waste & Vent piping underneath assembled trailers to site sewer

• Interior Domestic water piping

• Propane Gas for Hot Water Heaters & Gas-Fired furnaces

• Ultra-fast-paced schedule and with project completion just over the course of 8 weeks
