Merck KGaA, in Darmstadt, Germany, the Germany-based parent company of biopharmaceutical firm EMD Serono expanded its research and development facility campus. This project consisted of a ground-up 145,000-square-foot building to include new laboratories, office space and a cafeteria for 400 “new and current” employees.
