Project Title: E-Ink in Billerica, MA

Project Description: E-Ink is the world’s leading innovator of digital signage and electronic paper display technology (EPD). The company delivers its advanced display products to the world’s most influential brands and manufacturers, enabling them to install extremely durable, low power displays in previously impossible or unimaginable applications and environments

Features: NSMC was responsible for the Plumbing/Process Piping scope of work, which included:

  • RO/DI Water Skid and Piping System
  • Specialized Laboratory Waste and Vent equipment and piping system
  • Compressed Air (CA) and Nitrogen (N2) Equipment and piping systems
  • Interior Domestic, Protected, and Tempered water piping
  • Storm Drainage systems Sanitary waste, and vent piping

Project Description
Zygo Teraoptics develops and commercialize components and modules for the Optical Networking industry. This project was comprised of clean room construction and building renovation of this 87,000 sf facility.

NSMC’s scope of work included fit ups for vacuum, CDA and Nitrogen. Point-of-use systems were installed for Hydrogen/Nitrogen, Oxygen, Xenon, Argon, Helium and Carbon Dioxide.
